The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda featured in the World Marine Guide list of marinas in the British Virgin Islands has officially opened. The marina and club house is owned by Victor International and managed by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.
A statement from the marina said that the complex will be used for megayachts as well as international sailing events. The marina and club includes 38 slips for yachts up to 100 meters, restaurant, gym, bar, pool and event lawn. The marina and club house on Virgin Gorda is owned by Victor International and managed by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.
The ribbon cutting ceremony (pictured above) was at a grand opening held in the new club house. Riccardo Bonadeo, commodore of the YCCS said the new facility will hold many future sailing, yachting and marine events. The events include the 2nd annual Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous on March 14-17, 2012.
