Puerto Calero marina on the canarian Island of Lanzarote is a privately operated marina with a deservedly excellent reputation. The harbour is spotlessly clean and very well run. The marina, golf course and luxury villas are purpose built and were designed by Luis Ibañez. The marina was opened in 1989 and extended to its present capacity, 420 berths, ten years later. Since then the marina has proved very popular with resident and visiting yachts and crews. Normally around 150 berths are reserved for visitors but because of its popularity it is best to book in advance, though, reportedly, visiting yachts are never turned away when the marina, in theory, is full.
Puerto Calaero marina offers many services including Yacht Charter, Sailing Schools and Boatyard.
