Portimao Marina on the Algarve coast of Portugal has been added to World Marine guides list of Portuguese ports.
Portimao marina is located in the confines of the spacious Arade River estuary, and is spread over 25-hectare area, in front of the historical forts of Santa Catarina and São João. The coast provides some of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Europe.
The water in the river and the marina is deep, so vessels can come and go at any state of the tide and the marina can cater for yachts up to 50 mt with plenty of room for manoeuvring and offering excellent shelter.
