Playa Blanca Marina, Lanzarote, Canary Islands

The appeal of Playa Blanca marina on the Canarian Island of Lanzarote has diminished slightly since the advent of Marina Rubicon which is just a mile or so across the bay. Because of all the facilities such as yacht charter, boatyard and lift out, fuel berth etc that Marina Rubicon can offer Playa Blanca has reverted primarily back to a commercial port for the Fuerteventura ferries, tourist boats and the local fishing fleet. Tourism still plays an important part to the local economy and there are plenty of cafes and bars to entertain visiting yachts making this a worth while marina to visit.
