The new marina region of Israel has been added to World Marine Guide after Ashkelod marina was recommended.
At just over ten years old Ashkelod marina is a modern yacht harbour that offers good shelter and facilities. The increase in marinas in the eastern Mediterranean is showing the growing importance of the this part of the Med as a cruising destination.
Ashkelon is an ancient seaport and city that dates back to Neolithic times. The city has good shopping and supermarkets as well as numerous bars, cafes and restaurants.
