25 Years Old, Hythe Marina Village Was The First Of Its Kind

25 years old, Hythe Marina Village was the first marina development of its kind in the UK, and offered a berth for your boat and a waterside property on the western shore of Southampton Water, since then many rundown docksides all over Britain have copied the idea.

Since the first properties went on to the market in 1985 Hythe Marina Village has grown and now includes more than 200 berths and 220 waterside homes, with many residents keeping a boat on the berth connected to their houses.

The marina is marking its 25th anniversary with a free weekend of music, food and celebration from 18th - 19th September 2010. Hythe Marina Village is now managed MDL Marinas
